- Ingredients:
For the dough:
1 tea cup of water
2 tea cups of milk
2 cups of meat broth
1/2 tea cup of mashed potatoes
1 table spoon of butter
2 and 1/2 tea cups of flour
For the filling:
1 and 1/2 quilo of chicken
3 table spoons of "requeijão cremoso"
2 table spoons of olive oil
1 small onion
2 garlic cloves
Salt and Pepper
-Steps:
Filling:
In a pan, put olive oil, chopped garlic and onion
Wait till it starts to cook and add the shredded chicken and the seasonings of your preference
Sauté everything for 5 minutes, remove from the heat, add the "requeijão", mix and reserve
Dought:
In a large saucepan, add water, milk, broth, potato, butter and simmer
Add the wheat flour all at once, stirring until it loosens from the bottom of the pan
Pour the dough onto a smooth and greased surface, knead well and let cool
Open the dough with your hands, fill and shape in the form of a coxinha
Pass the dough shaped by the beaten egg and the flour
Fry in hot oil until golden brown and drain on absorbent paper
