Bobó de Camarão

Bobó de camarão

- Ingredients:

  • 1 quilo of fresh shrimps

  • salt

  • 3 garlic cloves

  • juice of one lemon

  • pepper

  • 1 quilo of cassava

  • 3 onions

  • 1 bay leaf

  • 6 table spoons of olive oil

  • 2 glasses of coconut milk

  • 2 cans of tomato sauce

  • 2 green bel peppers

  • 2 table spoons of azeite de dendê

- Steps:

  1. Wash the shrimps and season with salt, garlic, pepper and lemon

  2. Take a pan with water and cook the cassava in small pieces, with bay leaf and onion in slices

  3. When soft, add a glass of coconut milk

  4. Let it cool down a little and whisk in the blender

  5. Heat the olive oil, add the grated onion and let it brown

  6. Add the shrimps and fry

  7. Adicione as 2 latas de pomarola, o cheiro-verde, o pimentão e deixe cozinhar por alguns minutos

  8. Add the 2 cans of tomato sauce, the bel pepper and cook for a few minutes

  9. Add in the same pan, the cassava beaten in the blender, another glass of coconut milk and the azeite de dendê

  10. Let it boil and it's ready
